Lone Ranger (12.9.09 11:21) Talking of housing, the Decent Homes Standard.... In 2007 the council stated all council properties would achieve this by 2010, but this was later amended to 2012. Now on the Lewisham Homes website under Major Works is the following... "The Council has bid for £145 million from Central Government to improve housing to the Decent Homes Standard. The Government has advised all Round Six Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMOs), including Lewisham Homes, who had not yet got a two star rating by the Audit Commission, that they would not be able to access Decent Homes funding until 2011/12." Will Lewisham Homes be able to complete the Decent Homes programme by 2012 if the funds are not to be released till 2011 or possibly 2012?
