Interesting letter signed by 15 local doctors printed in the Mercury. They dispute the documents claim that doctors think the greatest level of quality and safety will be provided by Lewisham and Queen Mary hospitals losing their A&E departments, as the doctors are unaware of being consulted.

The doctors say the reason for the changes is debts owed by neighbouring health trusts.
